Chili Chocolate Brownies
These brownies are awesome. But probably not all that good if you are on a diet!
4 eggs (free range, of course)
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp Black Dog Chili Co Howlin’ Hot Chili Jam (to taste)
1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
1/2 cup self raising flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz melted butter
Preheat the oven to 160C. Butter and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
Whisk the eggs until really light and fluffy with an electric mixer (on high). Add chili jam and sugar and whisk until well combined. Whisk in the rest of the ingredients.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for approx 40 mins until a skewer comes out not quite clean.
Here’s the important bit! … Leave in the tin till cool (yeah, right).
Cut into tiny squares.
(Hide these brownies from the dog!).
